Our Coaches

Coaches are required to undertake a number of checks and certifications, including:

All CTS programs abide by the Rule of Two, ensuring that two responsible adults (a coach, staff, parent, or screened volunteer) are present with participants. Download the Rule of Two infographic here.

Coaches must understand the Universal Code of Conduct to prevent and address maltreatment in Sport as well as be familiar with the Abuse-Free Sports Helpline.

Our coaches bring decades of tennis instruction experience, with several having competed as juniors and adults at elite levels. Many of them are Tennis Canada certified. All are passionate about growing the game and developing players' skillsets on and off the courts.
